Thank You-Estes Park

On behalf of the Estes Park Quota Loan Closet Team, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for your support.

Estes Park Quota has a long charitable history in this valley. Beginning in 1950 with the purchase of the first of 21 ambulances. During this same 76 years, we have provided durable medical equipment to our community, patients and visitors at no cost through our refundable deposit program. In the last 12 months alone, we have loaned out 809 pieces of equipment, including 14 hospital beds, serving 481 patients. 

When we were faced with an unexpected move in January 2026 due to a building code violation. We turned to the community for help. The outpouring of support was truly awe-inspiring. Within just a few weeks, we found a new location, blocks from the hospital and were settled and ready to continue our service at 1140 Unit #C Manford Avenue.

Because of the extraordinary generosity of the Estes Park Health Foundation, Grants, Sponsorships, individual donations and Duck Race ticket purchases, we can continue offering free equipment to patients. Whether you donated money to pay for our operating expenses or equipment, each gift helps to support this mission, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We have moved to 1140 Manford Ave, Unit C in Estes Park. The Loan Closet is a non-profit service of Estes Park Quota. The Loan Closet was founded in 1952 with a walker, cane and wheelchair and served 27 patients that first year. 

The Loan closet provides free loans of durable medical equipment, with only a minimal refundable deposit. Loans are intended to be on a temporary basis, up to 3 months. Items include but are not limited to hospital beds, walkers, toilet risers, canes, crutches, shower chairs, roll-abouts, knee walkers and more. The Loan Closet relies on donations from our users and the community to operate. From May 2025 to April 2026 alone, 481 patients used 809 pieces of equipment, all managed by dedicated volunteers from the Estes Park Quota Club.

Volunteers are available 7 days per week, call one of our member volunteers to set up a time to check out equipment. Follow the link below for our 2026 volunteer schedule and more information.
